THE MEN UNPLUGGED The semi acoustic Blues Duo The Men Unplugged, consists of Gerrit van der Spaan on guitar ands singing  and George Reijnders on the bluesharp. This duo has its own sound and play ‘s honest numbers with blues traditionals  and their own songs. 

GERRIT VAN DER SPAAN Born in Amsterdam and has played guitar since his 12th year. In the 1980’s he created the Mean Town Blues Band and later played in A Crossroads Deal. So timely he performs with his own band ‘The Beaverhunt Blues Band’. 

GEORGE REIJNDERS Born in Hoofddorp, has played since 2005 and also known as Cooper organizer of the harmonica meetup group Holland. George plays amazing blues on his harp, with the sound of the old masters. 

WEEKEND In may 2013, their first CD “weekend” saw the light of life with it’s own work but also interpretations by for example Rory Callaghers Western Plains, The traditional house of the Rising Sun and going up the country.

ON THE ROAD With the expansion of the repertoire, it was time to record a number of new songs on the new CD “On the road”. 

LIVE STREAM PERFORMANCE(S) On saturday evening march 27, 2021, exactly 13 months later after the first corona contamination observed in the Netherlands, The Men Unplugged  gave their first live stream performance. Thanks to Peter van de Plug from Amsterdam for providing the training room.
