Group Workshops and Private Lessons for Singing Actors
I am a singing actor, and I want to help you become one, too.
Truly effective singing actors do much more than stand there and sing beautifully. They live the story of a character with their body, imagination and emotions working in harmony. All of their passion, pain, joy, wonder, happiness, and heartbreak is given to the audience like a gift to unwrap. Being a strong singing actor is a skill that can be learned and strengthened, just like your voice.
The special tools that you bring to the table are your own unique voice, and your own singular perspective as an actor and a human. Nobody else can give the authentic performance that comes from deep inside of yourself. It’s one-of-a-kind, like a snowflake or a fingerprint. The audience knows it when they see it, when they feel it. This is what I want to help you find and harness. Your own personal power as a singing actor.
GROUP VOICE WORKSHOPS (Online or in-person): €25 per person, per class, excluding 21% BTW/VAT.
Group voice workshops are a fun and effective way for singing actors to learn and grow. Whether you’re an experienced performer, or just starting out, we will work together to bring your singing and storytelling to life. Everyone gets the benefit of personal coaching, but the special sauce is that students also get to watch and listen to their peers.
PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS (Online or in-person at my studio): €45 per lesson, excluding 21% VAT (1 hour, by appointment)
I love teaching students at all levels, whether you're a beginner or on Broadway. I emphasize healthy, safe and sustainable singing for all of my students. My four tent-poles are technique, acting, repertoire selection and audition preparation. I primarily teach using material from all eras of Musical Theater as well as standards from the American Songbook. I also use art songs occasionally to help students develop their skills.
PRIVATE VOICE COACHING (Online or in-person at my studio): €45 per coaching, excluding 21% VAT (1 hour, by appointment)
Besides teaching vocal technique, I also enjoy working as a vocal coach. What's the difference between a teacher and a coach? That's a great question! A coach is someone who helps you learn specific material (a role or a song). A coach does not focus on technique or vocal problem-solving. You may routinely work with more than one coach at a time, but typically you work with only one teacher at a time. You don't take weekly lessons with a coach. Coaching is usually project-based.
